Telling the story of the Bohannan family, comprised of matriarch Dorothy Mae and her three grown daughters who relocated to 1950s Harlem from Yazoo City Missouri in search of new opportunities, A Silent Night In Harlem sees the family adapting to their new lives in the cultural epicenter while trying to forget the secrets and sins of the life they left behind.

As part of the thousands who migrated South to North in search of a better life, Dorothy and her daughters, Cora, a beautician at Bessie's  Beauty Shop, Gertrude, a maid for Tom & Gladys Parker in Upper Eastside Manhattan, and Annabelle a Cigarette Girl at the Savoy Ballroom, navigate their new surroundings, this story of sins, signs, and secrets, A Silent Night in Harlem is sure to add to your holiday cheer - and make it a most memorable one yet!
