After many years on the road building separate, successful solo careers, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi have united to form a new band with an extended pool of collaborators and friends. The Tedeschi Trucks Band is the result of their union - an 11-strong Blue band that has become a force to be reckoned with!
Their debut studio album - Revelator - came out in 2011 a year after the band formed, scooping up a Grammy Award for Best Blues Album! RollingStone magazine called the album a "masterpiece" - a clear sign that the risk taken by Tedeschi and Trucks to leave their former bands and forming this new incarnation had definitely paid off!

Time well spent
What a great band. We were in the Club level off to the right of the bank. The energy of that 12 member band was amazing. The band was tight and the sound was fantastic. I love how they would bring the energy up, and then smoothly bring it down. A cool version of Prince's Party like it was 1999, and Bob Dyan's Don't think Twice. They ended it with Keep on Growing from the Derek and the Dominos fame. Thank you! ... Read more
