MOTLEY CRUE HAS BECOME AN UTTER JOKE

Positives: Joan Jett rocked! Really great overall. Sound, energy, all great. Poison was very good, had sound issues coming out in fact you couldn't even hear CCs guitar until midway thought the 2nd song. Brett Michael's is a CLASS ACT and the band was tight overall. Def Leppard...well,like other cities...they stole the show hands down. Incredible sound and amazing vocals, especially the back up on the harmonies and high notes. Just incredible, they get better with age....unlike Motley Crue...what a terrible band they've become. Classless, awful sound, out of sync, and Vince can't even finish an entire line on lyrics. Just a loud mess that you can't even determine what song they're playing. If you're going to see this show pray that Crue is headlining. Then leave the moment Def Leppard finishes. Seriously, they are THAT bad.

BAD ACOUSTICS

I have loved all of these bands most of my life now so it was disappointing to finally see them for the first time and the sound quality for Poison and Motley Crue were awful. I think it was mainly due to playing at Globe Life Park. It is my first time to this venue and it is the first time I have had a really hard time hearing any band that i have seen. Funny thing is, is that Def Leppard closed and sounded great. Had I not known the lyrics to all of the Poison and Crue songs I would have been lost through most of their shows. The love ballads were easy to hear though. Although not a fan of Joan Jett she sounded fine as well.

STAY IN YOUR SEAT.

The sound was muffled and hard to understand. sounded like old speakers from the 80's. Security was going around making sure everyone stayed in their seats. I like the bands but hard to understand from the distorted sounds of crappy speakers. And I was actually shocked that security refused to take a chill pill on making people sit down.

BAD SOUND

Sound was aweful. The research I did on this is that it has been an ongoing issue at state farm stadium for a long time...Can we call the stadium owners and beg for a better sound system. The other bad thing was security going around making people sit down and no standing. Are you kidding me, remain seated at a rock concert. I would like my money back but I know that won't happen. Disappointed ☹️

DEF LEOPARD ROCKED...

Def Leopard definately rocked the show!!! The Crue were a joke...Come on guys...time to "hang it up". People left before the show was over...that's a bad sign!!! Disappointing but Def Leopard made it worthwhile...class act!! Thanks

FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK, WE SALUTE YOU! FOR OTHERS…

Joan Jett-still got it! She was a ground-breaker when she started years ago, and she’s still going strong. Poison wins 5 starts for energy, crowd engagement, showmanship, and just doing those rock ballads they are famous for. Brett Michaels defies age and the boys from Harrisburg prove time and time again that good music lives on. Michael’s, by far, was the best frontman of the night. Never disappoints and C.C. was shredding!!!!! Def Leopard I haven’t seen since 1988 in Springfield, ILL and it was as if I was transported back. Perfect pitch, every note was on point. Nowhere near as engaging as Poison, but hey, that’s never been their style. The tribute to the Queen was fitting and appropriate for a group of English rockers. Loved their set. Motley Crue lived up to their name Motley. You can also add raunchy to the list. As everyone has stated, Vince’s vocals were hideous. Made me cringe. Tommy Lee is a drum god. But also kind of an asshole, but I’m assuming he doesn’t care and that’s what he was going for. If you wanted to see a skinny, coked-up rockers bare ass, he didn’t disappoint. If you wanted to step back to 1987 and see a young women looking for Instagram likes by showing her boobs, yes that happened. Even a guy who pulled out his duck at the behest of Tommy Lee. Not sure what makes men think those are attractive and we want to see a wiener flapping around, especially when Neon Dogs was selling what looked like a bigger fit for your bun than what that fan pulled out for us, but hey, I guess that was what Tommy was looking for. I got up and walked out. I am not a prude, I came for a rock and roll show. If I wanted to see a nice pair of boobs, I’d look in the mirror. If I wanted to see a dock, I’ll ask my man. I wanted rock and they did not deliver. This was my 4th time seeing the Crue and it is my last.

HEADLINER LET DOWN

Many of you have already addressed the horrible sound engineering. But for me, the worst part was the quality of Vince Neil - not singing complete phrases, pitchy as hell, and seemed like he was out of breath the whole time. And compared to Brett Michaels - who had true rockstar energy - Neil looked as if he wasn’t excited to be there. Def Leppard has amazing musicians and Joe Elliot can surely sing, but at age 70+ they decided to promote a new album and play a bunch of songs nobody knows or cares about. An hour into their set they had only played 2 songs from pyromania and 2 from andrenalize. I paid over $600 for 2 club seats and took my teenage daughter so she could meet the music I grew up loving. We got outstanding efforts from Joan Jett and Poison, but the so called heavy hitters bombed. I think Nikki Sixx is a genius and general badass and Mick Mars somehow kills the thick riffs with a single Stratocaster, but Vince sounded as bad as I’ve ever seen him. So after waiting over 2 years for this I can honestly say I would have preferred to go gambling at the hard rock. So sad.
