Each year, Ethel and Norman move into their house on the beautiful Golden Pond to spend the summer taking in the tranquil surroundings, and this one is no different. But the couple are ageing and it's taking a toll on the twilight years of their marriage as Normon's heatlh and memory begin to suffer.
When their grown daughter Chelsea arrives with her new fiance and his son Billy, their lives are changed and relationships are anaylsed once again in this bittersweet story of love and tenderness.
